Back in the summer, our colleagues over in Great Britain visited the factory in which the Fire Cloak Electric Vehicle Fire Blanket technical fabric is manufacturer for a fabric burner test. They wanted to carry out a burner test on the fabric used to make the Fire Cloak and show exactly what happens. Will it hold up?
After preparing a sample of the fabric, the technical team at the manufacturing facility exposed the sample to a propane burner test. After several minutes of heating the fabric, an infrared thermometer recorded a peak temperature of 745℃.
You guessed it! The fabric was in no way compromised by the test and the temperature was drastically reduced on the outer surface. Take a look for yourself!
